According to the American Biogas Council, Wisconsin ranks 6th out of 50 states for its biogas production potential. Biogas represents an innovative solution to improve water quality, generate renewable energy and fuel, create jobs, and invest in our rural communities. Maximizing the potential of biogas in the Badger State will require fitting together the key pieces of supportive policies, public private partnerships, and proper valuation of the environmental and health benefits.
