Sarah is the Senior Manager of Global Utility Business Development at Tesla. In this role, Sarah leads Tesla’s efforts on strategy and new offerings for utility-scale energy storage around the world. Sarah previously managed Tesla’s North America Energy Policy Team directing Tesla’s engagements with regulators and legislators on policies that affect the development of battery energy storage and solar at all levels of the grid. Prior to her four years at Tesla, Sarah led energy storage policy for Southern California Edison where she helped guide the utility’s groundbreaking 2014 procurement of more than a gigawatt-hour of energy storage systems. Sarah started her career as a financial analyst in electricity and emissions markets working in operations, trading, and market design. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from UCLA.
