Darcy Shiber-Knowles (she/her) is the Director of Operational Sustainability and Innovation at Dr. Bronner’s, the top-selling natural brand of soap in the U.S., famous for its tingly peppermint soap, leadership on regenerative organic agriculture, radical labels, and corporate activism. Since 2013, Darcy has played a pivotal role in the development of Dr. Bronner’s sustainability efforts including securing 100% renewable power, emissions and other environmental footprinting and public reporting, creating the first-ever Fair Trade Internship Program, and co-chairing the steering committee for the B Corp Climate Collective, a group of Best for the Environment Certified B Corps collaborating to advance climate justice. In her role at Dr. Bronner's, Darcy oversees global sustainability, quality, research & development, and compliance with Dr. Bronner’s many third-party certifications, including B Corp, USDA Organic, Regenerative Organic, Fair Trade, Vegan, and more. Darcy holds a Bachelors Degree in Environmental Science from Barnard College at Columbia University, and an MBA from the Yale School of Management.
