Born and raised in rural northern Wisconsin, he moved to the Fox Valley area in 2001 shortly after graduating High School to pursue a career in the electrical field. He started with Eland Electric in 2003 and received an NJATC sponsored apprenticeship in 2004. He started working on solar jobs as an apprentice in 2006 when the company was exploring renewable energy and received his Journeyman Electrical License in 2009. He also attained his NABCEP PV Installer certificate in 2009 and moved into a Project Management role in 2011 overseeing all of the Solar PV work that runs through Eland Electric. He serves on the Northeast Wisconsin Apprenticeship Committee and is active with his community, also serving on his local School Board. He enjoys outdoor activities and spending time with his family. He has been married to Sarah for 16 years and they have three daughters.
