Nick started with Alliant Energy in 2007 and has been involved in distributed energy resources since 2008. He has held positions in energy efficiency, account management, program management and is currently the Team Lead Distributed Generation and Operations. In his current role, Nick manages the interconnection and operation of distributed generation to the Alliant Energy distribution system, as well as QF power purchase agreements. He is the company’s subject matter expert on the Iowa and Wisconsin administrative codes regarding distributed generation facilities, IAC199 Chapters 15 & 45 and PSC 119 respectively. He is also a member of WIDRC, the Wisconsin Distributed Resource Collaborative, where he has served as a Steering Team Committee Member since 2018. Nick graduated from Mount Mercy University with a bachelor’s degree, double majoring in Business Administration and Finance.
